Alert – California Proposition 65 Statement
California Proposition 65 (also known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986) refers to the California legislation that was intended by its authors to protect California citizens and the State’s drinking water sources from chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm, and to inform citizens about exposures to such chemicals.
The law requires that no person doing business knowingly and intentionally exposes an individual to a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive toxicity without first giving a clear and reasonable warning. The Prop 65 list can be accessed here.
Based on a thorough review of our internal processes and confirmation from our supplier partners, Alert Reel Manufacturing does not manufacture products containing chemicals listed in California Proposition 65. Therefore, our products do not require California Proposition 65 warning labeling.
